Previously, I would have called it synthpop, but lately the songs have been going in a more deep, introspective direction. I aim to do music that people will still be listening to 10 years from now....a long shelf life is important to me.
How long have you been together?
I met my machines on a beautiful summer's night in 1994.
What have you released to date?
1999- Anthems For the Young At Heart
2000- Another Coin in the Daydream Machine
2000- Dressed in Black
2002- Future Fashion
2004- The Licorice EP
When are you planning your next release?
Don't ask me to give an exact release date. The album has already been postponed too many times. Hopefully before the end of this year.
What is your favorite song to perform and Why?
Of my own stuff, I love to do "Written On A Napkin". I think I have done that one at every show I've ever played. It's so manic. For covers, I love to do "Blue Monday".
Who are the best bands you preformed with?
Too many to list here. I've been lucky to play with some awesome talent.
Where are you planning for your next shows?
I hope to do a Tiffany-esque mall tour, starting with a string of dates in Wisconsin, and I hope to play at some insurance seminars.
Are you bored??? Of course you are! Do you find most of the stuff on the radio too plastic, manufactured and insincere? Of course you do! Do you want to have fun again? Of course you do! Gary is your man.
Another great remix by another old friend, Saint John's one and only Creon (also known as C.S. Graves).
