How would you describe the band if you were a pressman or an
editor? |
A unique blend of melodic metal and thumping funk that deviates from the mainstream and will redefine the hard rock scene.

Why did you choose your name? |
Three of the founding members used to play hockey together - to "slew foot" another player means to come up behind them and sweep your leg through theirs, causing them to either fall flat on their face or square on their ass. Needless to say, it fits us. =)

What type of music do you play? |
Our music is difficult to catagorize. Hard rock, metal, funk, alternative, screamo - elements of them all can be found in our songs.

How long have you been together? |
The original three members - Chris, Jason and Aaron - have been playing for over four years. Andy Herbst, the vocalist, has been on board for only a matter of months.

What have you released to date? |
In March 2004, we released the "Mosquito" EP with our old singer - it stands to date as our only mainstream commercial release. We currently have a new two song demo.

When are you planning your next release? |
Hopefully by the middle of next year.
|

What is your favorite song to perform and Why? |
Our namesake song, "Slewfoot". It's usually used as an opener, and it has so much energy behind it that it tends to set the tone for our energetic stage show.

Who are the best bands you preformed with? |
3against1 (the BEST band in San Diego), Etched in Red and The Abuse.
|
|
Where are you planning for your next shows? |
We plan to play a lot of shows in Los Angeles, and to branch out into Northern California, Arizona and Las Vegas on a more regular basis.

Rabbits eat lettuce.
